We are so pleased and honored to share that our very own Glenn Dickey received a 2021 ServeOhio Award, which “recognizes outstanding people, groups, and initiatives in each region of Ohio who make great contributions to their communities through service and volunteerism”!
Volunteering within the woodshop for years, Glenn’s recent creativity and initiative during the pandemic earned him this honor, including his instructional build videos that he filmed and edited so that remote and reduced volunteer builds could continue during COVID-19! Thanks to him, we were able to host meaningful and productive volunteer build opportunities for 41 volunteers that helped keep furniture flowing to families during the pandemic.
We are beyond fortunate to have Glenn as a leader within our volunteer force and can’t wait to see what else his initiative leads to in the years to come. Congratulations, Glenn, on a well deserved honor!
