In the Spring issue of Red Chair Times we focused on the increasing importance of strategic partnerships to nonprofit organizations’ efforts to help strengthen their missions. These partnerships also can maximize the strengths of the partners to address issues, challenges or opportunities in a collaborative and mutually beneficial manner.

Strategic partnerships are integral to the Furniture Bank’s mission and efforts to help turn empty houses in homes of hope for central Ohio individuals and families impacted by poverty. We continue the focus on strategic partnerships in this issue by highlighting our partnership with Adept Marketing.

Adept Marketing launched its Adept Gives philanthropy program in 2018 to maximize the impact of its expertise in digital marketing on a local nonprofit organization. The Furniture Bank was chosen as Adept’s first charity partner! During 2018 Adept generously provided more than $50,000 in pro bono services that included production of a video that captures our mission and impact and new website design and optimization.

Adept Marketing’s generous investments of time, talent, expertise and enthusiasm made a tremendous impact on the Furniture Bank, helping to expand our marketing capabilities and heighten community awareness about our services for families struggling with the effects of poverty.

We are extremely grateful to Adept for choosing to continue with the Furniture Bank as the 2019 Adept Gives charity partner and to build on efforts launched last year.
