All of us here at the Furniture Bank mourn the recent passing of two long-time members of the volunteer dresser crew, Carl Messenheimer and Chuck Murray. In addition to sharing their skills to benefit families impacted by poverty, both men were talented woodworkers and made a positive mark on all those whose lives they touched. Their combined hours of volunteer service at the Furniture Bank total more than 2,200 over 8 years. We will miss Carl and Chuck. Their fingerprints remain on the handiwork they did here in the wood shop and in the greater community.
