On Saturday, July 8th, 50 local kids received brand new beds at Hope to Dream! Thanks to a partnership with Morris Furniture Company and Columbus City Schools, we had the privilege of providing brand new beds to 50 local children.
Each child received not only a mattress and a bed frame but also a complete set of bedding, books, backpacks, and more. The excitement in the air was tangible as the kids eagerly searched for their very own beds, which were delivered that same afternoon, allowing them to experience the joy of a good night’s sleep that night. The impact of this event extended far beyond the physical provision of beds. For many, this marked a significant transition from the discomfort of sleeping on floors or couches to having a safe and dedicated space of their own. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Columbus City Schools for hosting the event and thank all the generous volunteers who contributed to its success.
