On Saturday, June 4th, 75 local kids received brand new beds at Hope to Dream! Thanks to a partnership with Morris Home Furniture, we were able to provide mattresses, bed frames, bedding, and a new book for kids from Gladden Community House, Central Community House, and St. Stephen’s Community House. CJ Stroud, Ohio State quarterback and honorary Hope to Dream Ambassador, came to sign autographs and reveal a room full of beds. Each child got to run and find a bed with their name on it.
It was a joyous and impactful morning for so many families in our local community. We are honored to help 75 children move off of floors and couches and into their very own safe bed – thanks to the power of community collaboration. A special thank you to COSI for hosting us, as well as all of the generous volunteers who joined us!
