Here’s how to complete your 2017 gift to the Furniture Bank by year end.
IMPORTANT: The last date to complete many gifts is Friday, December 29, 2017.
Gifts by check depend on the method used for delivery. All checks must be dated before December 31, 2017.
- Mail via U.S. Postal Service with postmark on or before Saturday, December 30, 2017, as December 31 is a Sunday.
- Gift checks mailed via U.S. Postal Service with postmark and check date on or before December 31, 2017 will be counted for 2017 regardless of when they are received by us
- Ship via FedEx, UPS, or other shipper so that it is received at by us on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 5pm
- Hand-deliver your check by Friday December 29, 2017 at 4pm
Online donations made via credit card must be made by midnight on Sunday, December 31, 2017. Click here to make your donation now.
Gifts by phone must be made by Friday, December 29, 2017 at 5pm. Call us at (614) 272-9544 if you wish to make a credit card donation over the phone.
Gifts of furniture, household goods and other property must be received by us by Friday, December 29, 2017 at 4pm. Please review our gift acceptance guidelines before donating. We do not accept items for donation at our Furniture with a Heart thrift store.
Our offices are open Tuesday December 26 through Friday, December 29, 8am to 4pm for drop off donations. Unfortunately, we have filled all pick-up appointments for the final week of December, but will gladly help unload your items!
